The Department of the election and the referendum was established in 2002 and based on the Decree No. (91) For the year 2007 it has been engaged with Legislation & Legal Opinion Commission in 2007. In order to ensure this process by an independent party takes into consideration the principles of impartiality, neutrality and legal basis in this regard. The Department of the election and the referendum essentially sets strategies and action plans for the preparation and the process of technical and technological for every individual’s election nor official referendum in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
